Directions To Our Hotel Using Public Transportation

When taking public transportation from the airports, check signs for pick-up area for shuttle and taxi. Travel times and costs are approximate. Rush hour traffic may add to the time and cost. Taking the Super Shuttle may take longer since they drop off guests in various hotels. The most number of stops will be 3 locations. The Metro is our local Washington DC and suburban train system. The Mark Train is a Maryland regional train system.

The city is 4 miles away from the airport. Taxi to the hotel will take approximately 15 minutes and about $15-$20. The Super Shuttle may take 30 minutes. Cost is $10. From Dulles International Airport:
The city is 25 miles away from the airport. Taxi to the hotel will take approximately 40 minutes and about $55-$60. The Super Shuttle may take one hour. Cost is $22. The nearest Metro station is West Falls Church (orange line). You need to take a Washington Flier bus to the station for $8. Take the metro to McPherson Square station. From BWI Airport:
The city is 35 miles away from the airport. Taxi to the hotel will take approximately one hour and about $60-$65. The Super Shuttle may take one hour to 1½ hours. Cost is $30. You may also take an airport bus to the Marc Train Station. Then take the Mark Penn line to Union Station for $5. Take a taxi to the hotel for 10 minutes and about $7. The city is about 35 miles away from the airport.
Follow the BWI Airport access road to 295 South (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) towards Washington, to New York Avenue. When New York Avenue intersects with Massachusetts Avenue, bear to your right onto Massachusetts Avenue to Thomas Circle. Stay on the street level on the right lane to the right. The Washington Plaza is the large, white, crescent-shaped building located on the right-hand corner of the circle. Turn right onto the entrance facing Vermont Avenue.

From the South (Richmond, Springfield, Alexandria)
Take I-95 North to Route 395 North. Follow to Route1 on the left-hand exit, to the 14th Street Bridge. Remain on 14th Street for fifteen blocks, to Thomas Circle. Take I-495 (Beltway) south to the George Washington Parkway. Take George Washington Parkway to Roosevelt Bridge onto Constitution Avenue. Follow Constitution Avenue to 15th Street, NW. Take interstate 95 South to the Washington, DC Beltway (I- 495). Follow I-495 South (towards Virginia to Exit 22B, the Baltimore-Washington Parkway). Follow the Parkway South for approximately five miles, until you come to New York Avenue. The Parkway will divide – bear to your right, towards New York Avenue for approximately five miles. You will go through 20-25 traffic lights. When New York Avenue intersects with Massachusetts Avenue, bear to your right onto Massachusetts Avenue. Take this Avenue to Thomas Circle.
